  • Introduction to FRP-Plastic Composite Pipe

    FRP-Plastic Composite Pipe is a high-performance pipe that combines glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) with thermoplastics (such as HDPE, PP, PVC, etc.) through a special process. It has the high strength and corrosion resistance of FRP and the flexibility and sealing of plastics, and is widely used in harsh environments such as chemical, municipal, and marine.

    Product performance

    • Mechanical properties

    Tensile strength ≥ 200MPa, ring stiffness ≥ SN5000, pressure bearing capacity can reach 1.6-4.0MPa.

    • Corrosion resistance

    Can withstand acid, alkali, salt spray, organic solvents, etc., with a service life of more than 30 years (3-5 times that of ordinary steel pipes).

    • Lightweight and high strength

    The density is only 1/4 of that of steel pipes, which is easy to install and reduces transportation costs.

    • Fluid characteristics

    The inner wall is smooth (roughness coefficient 0.0084), and the flow rate is 20%-30% higher than that of metal pipes.

    • Environmental adaptability

    Working temperature: -40℃~120℃, some models can withstand higher temperatures.
